What You’ll Do Every Day
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting patients at check-in and check-out
- Collecting patient payments
- Answering and triaging incoming phone calls
- Documenting patient communications in the EMR
- Coordinating medical records requests
- Updating lab orders
- Processing referrals and prior authorizations
- Routing faxes and other incoming documents

Essential Skills
- Minimum 1-2 years in a medical office setting
- Must be able to demonstrate strong computer skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping small businesses to succeed
- Strong sense of urgency and resourceful self-starter
- Curious to find solutions to issues and/or gaps
- Thrives in the challenge of a fast-paced environment

- Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited institution is strongly preferred.
