Let us help with the handover.
Starting over somewhere new usually means months of being a stranger to whoever is looking after you. It doesn't have to.
Call us before you go and we'll get your records ready to move with you. If your plans change, or the new place turns out not to fit, you know where we are.
The price might be lower than you think.
Since January, membership fees qualify for HSA funds. If you have a high-deductible plan with an HSA sitting behind it, that's 20 to 35 percent off what this actually costs you, and most members had no idea the rule changed.
There may be other things we can do as well. Call us and let us look at your situation properly before you decide it doesn't fit the budget.
Insurance and membership do different jobs.
Most of our members carry insurance too. Insurance is built to pay for things after they've gone wrong, and it's good at that. What it won't give you is a provider who knows your history, answers when you call, and has the time to catch something early.
Before you drop one for the other, call us and we'll talk through what you'd be giving up.
You've already paid for it.
Your membership runs through the notice period whether you use it or not, so there's no reason to leave it sitting there. Book a visit with Deedee before you go. No copay, and an appointment that doesn't end before you've finished your sentence.
Most people who tell us they didn't use it enough were never really shown how. Give us one visit to change that.
We'd like a chance to put it right.
If something went wrong, we want to hear it from you rather than work it out from a form. Call the office and ask for Alison, our operations director. She looks after this side of the practice, so you can speak freely about what happened.
We can't fix what we don't know about. Give us the chance to sort it before you go.
This might still be something we cover.
Deedee handles full-scope family medicine, and that covers more than most people assume. Weight management, hormones, and chronic conditions that need someone paying attention month to month rather than twice a year.
If what's changed sits outside what we do, we'll say so and help you find the right person. Either way a call costs you nothing, and it might save you starting over somewhere new.
There may be more room to work with.
We hear this one often, and it's usually about money or timing rather than the care itself. Those happen to be the two things we have some flexibility on.
Call us before you cancel and tell us what's changed. If there's something we can do, we'll do it. If there isn't, canceling will still be here waiting.
What were you hoping for?
That's worth knowing, and not just so we can talk you out of it. Sometimes it's a real mismatch. Sometimes it's something we do every week that nobody ever thought to mention to you.
Call us and tell us which one it is. It's a short conversation, and it may turn out we're a better fit than we've shown you so far.
Tell us before you go.
Whatever's behind it, we'd like to hear it. There may be an option you haven't considered, and if there isn't, knowing why people leave is how we stop it happening to the next person.
Call us, or send a message if that's easier. You don't have to justify anything, and it won't slow your cancellation down.
