What makes this different from a wellness IV bar.
IV therapy puts prescription compounds into your bloodstream. That's medicine, and we treat it that way.
A real evaluation first.
Before any drip, your provider checks the basics. What you actually need, kidney function, blood pressure, the medications you're on, and anything that should change the formulation or rule it out. Most IV bars don't ask any of this.
Real medications, sourced properly.
All formulations are prescribed by a licensed provider and sourced from accredited compounding pharmacies. Same quality-control standards as your prescriptions.
Part of your bigger health picture.
If something the drip surfaces (low energy that doesn't recover, fluid changes, lab values that drift) is worth investigating, you have a primary care provider already on it. That's a different starting point than walking out of an IV bar with no record.
When IV therapy actually makes sense.
Common reasons people come in for a drip.
Recovery from a stomach bug.
A few rough days that left you behind on fluids and electrolytes. A targeted drip catches you up faster than slow sipping at home.
Feeling something coming on.
Hydration plus vitamin C around the early hours of an illness. Used early, it can give your body something to work with. We won't promise it'll prevent what's coming.
A long week or a long night.
Travel, long shifts, dehydration after intense exercise. A hydration plus B-complex drip resets the baseline.
Energy and cognitive support.
Some patients swear by NAD+ infusions for mental clarity and steadier energy. Like a lot of supplements, the evidence is mixed. Worth a conversation about whether it fits what you're after.
Targeted micronutrient gaps.
If labs from a recent visit show a specific need (low B12, low iron, low vitamin D), an IV is sometimes the most efficient way to address it. Your provider will tell you whether it actually is.
Antioxidant and detox protocols.
Glutathione is the most popular ask in this category. We'll talk through what it does, what it doesn't, and whether it fits what you're trying to address.
What clinical oversight actually means.
Before any drip, your provider takes ten minutes to ask the questions a wellness IV bar doesn't. What medications are you on. What does your kidney function look like. Have you had a recent procedure or hospitalization. Are you pregnant. Have you ever had an allergic reaction to an infusion or any of the components.
That conversation rules out interactions and risk factors most patients have no reason to know about. A heart-failure patient shouldn't get a high-volume drip. Someone on lithium needs a different approach. Pregnancy changes the formulation. None of this is hypothetical.
During the infusion, trained staff monitor you. If something changes, your provider is on site to take a look. After, the visit becomes part of your record so the next conversation has the context.
For Prime Direct Health members, this all happens inside the relationship you already have with your provider. For non-members, the screening still happens before the drip and we keep records on file in case you ever need them.
How pricing works.
Priced per drip
Each drip is priced separately. Members pay less than non-members for the same drip.
Shared up front
Pricing is shared before the drip is given. No surprise charges arrive afterward.
Separate from membership
The infusion itself is billed separately from your Prime Direct Health membership. The screening conversation is included for members.
