Care for men

Men's primary care, done right.

For men dealing with energy, weight, hormones, blood pressure, or anything they've been putting off. Built around how men show up for care.

What men come to Prime Direct Health for.

If your situation isn't on this list, ask. Most things are.

The annual physical you've put off for years.

"I haven't seen a doctor in a while" is the most common opener. We start where you are. No lecture about what you should have done.

Energy that won't come back.

Fatigue that doesn't respond to sleep. Weight you can't move. Mood flatter than it used to be. Often hormonal, often something else. We figure out which.

Testosterone questions.

Low libido, brain fog, muscle loss that started showing up in your forties. A proper evaluation, the right bloodwork, and a straight conversation about whether TRT makes sense.

Weight loss with medical backup.

GLP-1 weight loss handled inside your primary care relationship instead of through a telehealth shop.

Blood pressure and cholesterol you've been ignoring.

Numbers that drift in your forties and fifties without symptoms. By the time you feel something, you're behind. Worth catching early.

Mental health you don't talk about.

Anxiety and depression often present differently in men: irritability, withdrawal, sleep that won't come, motivation gone. We handle both inside primary care, and refer for substance concerns or anything more complex.

The annual physical

A physical that digs in.

Most men have had a 13-minute physical that barely qualifies as one. A vitals check, a quick handful of questions, and a goodbye. By the time something matters enough for a referral, it has already been sitting around for a while.

At Prime Direct Health, an annual physical is a 30 to 60 minute visit. We talk through your full history, including the things you weren't sure were worth mentioning: family history, sleep, stress, alcohol, energy, libido, mood. We do a full exam. We order the labs worth checking at your stage of life.

Then we sit down and walk through the results together. Not a portal message that says "all normal," but a conversation where you understand what your numbers mean, what's trending, and what's worth doing about it.

For most men, this is the first time anyone has paid this kind of attention to their health. The conversation alone tends to surface three or four things worth following up on.

Testosterone replacement therapy

TRT, run by the provider who knows you.

For men with the symptoms of low testosterone: fatigue that doesn't go away, brain fog, low libido, muscle loss, mood shifts, weight that won't move. Many men suspect something hormonal but get a shrug from a traditional doctor or a six-week wait for an endocrinology referral. At Prime Direct Health, your primary care provider runs the evaluation, orders the labs, and manages your dosing if therapy is the right call. That continuity matters, because TRT can have side effects worth monitoring, and the person watching for them should already know your full health.

What evaluation looks like

A conversation about your symptoms, history, and goals. Bloodwork including total and free testosterone, CBC, comprehensive metabolic panel, lipid panel, PSA, and others as warranted. We rule out the things low T can mimic before landing on a plan.

What treatment looks like

Injectable testosterone and topical gels, through retail and accredited compounding pharmacies, using standard FDA-approved formulations. Dosing is titrated to your labs and how you feel.

What monitoring looks like

Follow-up labs at three months, then every six. We adjust the dose to how your body responds, not a generic protocol. If something else surfaces, we deal with it, because we're already your provider.

Visits and dose-adjustment conversations are included in your $90 monthly membership. Labs and medication are billed separately at transparent prices, shown before we order anything.

What your provider is paying attention to.

Different things matter at different stages. Here's what your annual is built to catch.

In your 30s and 40s

Cardiometabolic risk starts mattering: blood pressure, lipids, blood sugar, weight trajectory. Family history starts driving what we screen for and when. Sleep apnea risk climbs if weight does. Mental health gets the same attention as the rest.

In your 40s and 50s

Testosterone may start declining. Prostate awareness begins. Colon cancer screening starts at 45. Cardiometabolic management gets more active. Skin checks matter more if you've spent time outdoors.

In your 50s and 60s

Cardiovascular monitoring intensifies. Prostate evaluation continues. Bone health starts mattering. Memory and cognitive concerns get attention if they come up. Medications get reviewed so the list doesn't quietly grow.

How costs work.

Visits

Included in your $90 monthly membership. Annual physicals, sick visits, follow-ups, lab review, telehealth, and direct provider access by phone or text.

Lab work

Billed separately at near-cost. A comprehensive hormone evaluation for men runs around $65 here and covers several tests, well below insurance pricing for the same work.

Testosterone medication

Billed separately by the pharmacy. Retail and accredited compounding pharmacies, standard FDA-approved formulations. Pricing varies by formulation, and we walk through it before prescribing.

Other separately-billed services

GLP-1 weight loss medication, IV hydration, joint injections, and similar are billed separately, with pricing shown upfront.
